Dit is een nieuwe editie van het bordspel Bruxelles 1893, aangevuld met de Belle Epoque uitbreiding. De uitbreiding biedt extra strategische mogelijkheden, zonder het spel langer te maken.Bruxelles 1893 is een tactisch worker placement spel. Het spel situeert zich aan het einde van de 19e eeuw. Iedere speler is architect die een architecturaal werk in de Art Nouveau stijl probeert te ontwerpen. Het succesvolste gebouw levert de meeste punten op. Om hun score te verhogen, kunnen de spelers ook kunstwerken maken.In het spel Bruxelles 1893 zijn heel wat actiemogelijkheden. Er komen biedingen aan te pas en de spelers streven naar een meerderheidscontrole.Het actiebord is modulair, waarbij niet elke speler elke beurt toegang heeft tot elke actie. Sommige acties zijn gratis, anderen kosten geld.Zodra iedereen meer acties heeft ondernomen, eindigt de ronde en hebben de spelers een kunsttentoonstelling waarin ze werken kunnen verkopen. Hierna ontvangen spelers prestigepunten of bonuskaarten op basis van de symbolen waar ze hun werkers naast op het actiebord hebben geplaatst. Wie na vijf rondes de meeste punten bezit, wint het spel.In de Belle Epoque uitbreiding zitten nieuwe publieke figuren, witte kunstwerken, blokkeertegels, eindspeldoelen, speciale acties en nieuw spelmateriaal.
