Het spel Romolo o Remo speelt zich af in midden-Italië in het jaar 753 voor Christus. In de regio Latium werden veel nieuwe dorpen gesticht. Het land is welvarend en een sterke stad hier zou de transacties tussen de Etruskische steden van het Noorden en de Griekse kolonies van Zuid eenvoudig kunnen controleren. De regio is ook rijk aan zout, en weet dat zout in deze periode meer waard is dan goud. Dan bestaat er geen betere plek voor een nieuwe stad!De twee kleinzonen van de koning van Albalonga, de tweeling Romolo en Remo, afstammelingen van Enea van Troje, willen de kans om de regio te domineren niet missen en, niet samen, maar tegen elkaar, proberen ze twee steden dicht bij de rivier Tiber te stichten. Dit is een hachelijke ondernemeing, zeker als je weet dat ook de koning van Antemnae en de koning van Crustumerium ook vechten om dit gebied te domineren! Wie zal zegevieren ?In het spel Romolo o Remo? fungeren de spelers als koningen van de nieuwe steden in Latium en moeten ze concurreren met elkaar om de controle over de hele regio te krijgen. De spelers moeten hun koninkrijk en hun groeiende nederzetting beheren. Twee aspecten zijn cruciaal: de burgers , aangezien spelers hun burgers moeten inzetten om de verschillende acties uit te voeren, en het grondgebied, aangezien spelers alleen toegang hebben tot de gebieden welke zij controleren. A frightening virus, Virus Q, is spreading in the major cities of the planet. Infected people and animals change rapidly, becoming horrible bloodthirsty and almost unstoppable creatures. Our only hope is to find the zero patient and the place where everything originated. There, perhaps, we can find an antidote and return the hope to the dying humanity. But not everyone agrees. There are those who want to take advantage of the chaos and terror in order to gain power and establish a new form of government, trying to maneuver and control the monsters generated by the virus. A cure would ruin their plans forever. The virus was created in a secret military lab, in a space that's practically inaccessible. Inside, Virus Q spread for the first time, accidentally, maybe; the creatures that now inhabit the Lab are difficult even to imagine... In the innovative lab crawler game Virus, players are the team that infiltrates the Lab looking for the antidote to Virus Q. They will collect the few and fragmentary bits of information scattered in the laboratory, avoiding or fighting the monsters that populate it. The map generation and the movement/placement of monsters depends on the player actions with a semi-automatic mechanism controlling what takes place where. The fighting requires some dexterity elements as well as players must plan their tactics by combining their shooting power with available movement, achieving successes by rolling cubes. In the game Samhain, you will need to manage your clan the best you can, placing your clan members on the village locations each turn and performing the most suitable actions for your strategy. You must obtain resources and manage them properly in order to expand your clan and mess with your opponents.Each player will be the chief of a clan who will try to become the most powerful one in order to be placed in charge of the resistance against the Romans. Your clan members must be divided between locations in the village, performing actions, and those who are praying in the temples dedicated to their Gods. The locations will grant you instant advantages, but the temples will grant the power necessary to expand your clan and to lead it toward the glory. The Romans must not be underestimated. Before invading the lands of the Celts, they will try to poison the hearts of the tribes, in order to corrupt the clans and to use them for their own purpose.
